In Myanmar, Bo Yu are people who are literally “crazy about Bo“, where Bo are Western people. So, Bo Yu are Burmese people who are following a Westernized lifestyle. There are very few Bamar Yu, those crazy Western people who would like to become more Burmese; I consider myself to be one of them, hence the title of this blog.
